Study Types
Which echo is right for you?
Our cardiologist will recommend the appropriate study based on your clinical history.
Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE)
The standard echocardiogram. A transducer is placed on your chest to capture real-time images of your heart's structure and function — chambers, valves, wall motion, and ejection fraction.
Stress Echocardiogram
Combines a TTE with exercise or pharmacologic stress to evaluate how your heart functions under load. Identifies coronary artery disease and exercise-induced wall motion abnormalities.
Bubble Study (cTTE)
Agitated saline is injected intravenously while a TTE is performed. Used to detect patent foramen ovale (PFO), intracardiac shunts, and right-to-left communication.
Clinical Assessment
A complete picture of cardiac structure & function
Every ElinMed echocardiogram is interpreted by a board-certified cardiologist with subspecialty training in echocardiography. Your report includes quantitative measurements, qualitative assessment, and a full clinical impression.
Reports follow ASE (American Society of Echocardiography) reporting standards and are suitable for specialist referrals, surgical clearance, and longitudinal cardiac monitoring.
Ejection Fraction (EF)
How well your heart is pumping
Wall Motion
Segment-by-segment contractility analysis
Valve Function
Stenosis, regurgitation, prolapse
Chamber Size
LV/RV/LA/RA dimensions and volumes
Pericardium
Effusion detection and assessment
Diastolic Function
Grade I–III diastolic dysfunction
Pulmonary Pressures
Estimated RVSP / pulmonary hypertension screening
Aortic Root
Dilation, aneurysm screening
